>> smmg... the background

The history of this school...
Do you know that this school used to be a PRIMARY school? (Well if you don't, you know now!) It was built on a landscape of about 15.74 acre of land. It used to be known as Sekolah Rendah Menglait in 1973. One fact that I am aware of is that one of our "Tukang Kebun" has been in this school eversince. If there is someone who knows all about this school from its early establishment, that person has to be none other that our everlasting Hj.Aji. He's the only male Tukang Kebun we see around at SMMG. Then on the 9th of January, 1985, this school has been upgraded to a Secondary school. BUT.... there's a but to it. It's only operated to cater up to Form 3 students until 1999. In this year, those existing Form Three students began proceeding their Form 4 education in this school and this tradition continues until now. This school has seen a line-up of Principals and Deputy Principals. As we all know, they come and go but not the Keranis and other school staff. They are immuned to seeing the Principals come and go.

>> About this blog's moderator . . .

I was sitting in agony the other day thinking about this school. It is very sad to find out that in the midst of the happenings in the world of blogging, no one has the guts or time (hehe) to actually come forward and blog about this school. I am sitting here in an internet-wired restaurant having my Japanese-style Fish Noodle with fingertips busy writing on this blog. I am actually one of the teachers in this school. The most HIP (haha... that's my tag line). You'll be seeing more of hips soon. That much I can unveil at this moment. I need to get back to my food before I dump it as it gets soggy. Hehe (^_^)
